Storytime Outline - Down On The Farm

This is a storytime outline for an actual storytime we led at our library with preschool students. We use the same opening and closing song each time and then tailor the rest of the program to the theme. This theme is Down On The Farm!

Storytime – Down On the Farm!

Welcome Song: Clap and Sing Hello! (Tune: Farmer in the Dell)

We clap and sing hello,
We clap and sing hello,
With our friends at Storytime,
We clap and sing hello!

Song: If You’re Happy and You Know It... Barnyard Style...

If you're a chicken and you know it, say "cluck, cluck."
If you're a chicken and you know it, say "cluck, cluck."
If you're a chicken and you know it, then you really ought to show it.
If you're a chicken and you know it, say "cluck, cluck."

If you're a pig and you know it, say "oink, oink."
If you're a pig and you know it, say "oink, oink."
If you're a pig and you know it, then you really ought to show it.
If you're a pig and you know it, say "oink, oink."

If you're a cow and you know it, say "moo, moo."
If you're a cow and you know it, say "moo, moo."
If you're a cow and you know it, then you really ought to show it.
If you're a cow and you know it, say "moo, moo."
