If You’re A Monster And You Know It

If you’re a monster and you know it, clap your paws.

(Stomp the floor, snap your jaws, give a roar)

The Monsters Stomp Around The House (Tune: The Ants Go Marching)

The monsters stomp around the house, hurrah, hurrah

The monsters stomp around the house, hurrah, hurrah

The monsters stomp around the house

The children run away in fear

And the monsters roar and cheer

Happy Halloween! Happy Halloween!

Horns And Fangs (Tune: Head and Shoulders)

Horns and fangs, knees and claws

Kneees and claws, knees and claws

Horn and fangs, knees and claws

Eyes, ears, Tail and paws.

Ten Little Monsters (Tune: 10 Little Indians)

One little, two little, three little monsters

Four little, five little, six little monsters,

Seven little, eight little, nine little monsters

Ten little monsters roaring at me!

Monster Hunt

We’re going on a monster hunt.

We’re going to find a big one!

We’re not scared, but-

What if he’s under the bed?

Better go over it (squoosh, squoosh, squoosh)

What if he’s in the closet?

Better close it, Slam (clap)

What if he’s behind the curtains? (peek)

Better open them, swish! (fly hands apart)

Shhh! What’s that??? A monster!

(go backwards thru song and jump back into bed)

Monster Pokey (Tune: Hokey Pokey)

You put your claws in, you take your claws out

You put your claws in and you shake them all about!

You do the monster pokey and you turn yourself about!

That’s what it’s all about! (horns, tail, big feet, and hairy self)

Rhymes

5 Little Monsters Jumping on the Bed

Five little monsters jumping on the bed

One fell off and bumped his head

Mommy called the doctor and the doctor said,

“No more monsters jumping on the bed!”

(Repeat: 4, 3, 2, 1)

No little monsters jumping on the bed

None fell off and bumped their heads

Mommy called the doctor and the doctor said,

“No more monsters jumping on the bed!”

Monster Monster

Monster, monster, turn around

Monster, monster, touch the ground

Monster, monster, reach up high

Monster, monster, touch the sky

Monster, monster, find your nose

Monster, monster, find your toes

Monster, monster, find your knees

Monster, monster, sit down please

Five Little Monsters

5 Little monsters by the light of the moon

Stirring the pudding with a long, wooden spoon.

The 1st one said, “It musn’t be runny.”

The 2nd one said, “That would make it taste funny.”

The 3rd one said, “ It musn’t be lumpy.”

The 4th one said, “ That would make me grumpy.”

The 5th one smiled and hummed a little tune,

And licked all the drippings from the long, wooden spoon.
